Here we have a pair of the Sowter 9335 line level transformer volume controls mounted in a nice little box. It features level switches from Elma. In addition, there are three stereo input jacks which are selected via a nice mil-spec input selector switch. The 5-position input switch is Input1-mute-Input2-mute-Input3 allowing silent transition from source to source. The current selected input is indicated by an LED and when muted, there is a forth blinking LED that lights. The LED's are powered by a quiet and regulared supply which uses a wall wart power module for AC input. The entire device can be operated without using the AC module, but of course the LED's will not light. Unlike many of my amps, this unit has a full bottom for shielding.

The unit could stand to have new knobs as the set included is slightly mismatched.

Add up the parts cost in this unit just for the transformers and switches (plus the shipping to get them stateside) and you can see there is a lot of value tied up in this unit. Not to mention the labor and the rest of it. So figure about $700 for this item.
